After a great opening set of games in European competition, we are back to domestic action, today featuring two of Europe’s great derbies. In our first game, we will look towards the North London Derby as Tottenham travel to Arsenal, while in the second we head to Spain to watch as Atletico host high-flying Real Madrid. With much more than just three points on the line, we are anticipating some of the best action of the weekend in these two matches and alongside it some fantastic value plays to consider adding to your betslip. Tottenham Hotspur @ Arsenal (DraftKings)

The Emirates Stadium will host this exciting match as we are treated to the first North London Derby of the year. Both these clubs have experienced a strong start to the season, currently unbeaten through five matches. Arsenal have kept up their great form from last year’s title charge, including starting off their first Champions League campaign in seven years with a dazzling win. Meanwhile Tottenham come into the match enjoying life under new management and should be the more rested side of the two with no European football this year. While the odds are on the side of the Gunners, Tottenham have played some exciting and offensive football this season and have all of the quality to make for a great match here.

Arsenal are the better side and have the great benefit of playing this match at home. At the Emirates, Arsenal have had brilliant form, both this season and last, winners in 83% of their matches played. With a team that has only seemed to improve with some tidy business in the transfer market, they should leave this match with all three points and they have history on their side as well: Arsenal won both matches against Tottehman a year ago, winning both by a comfortable two goal margin.

Though we are favoring Arsenal to win the match, we firmly expect this to be an exciting contest. Between the brilliance of Arsenal’s team build up and Tottenham's stunning pace on the counter attack, this game has all of the potential to turn into another classic. This season both teams have seen this total for goals scored in all of their league matches so far. Alongside this, we are adding both Richarlison and Kulusevski to record at least one shot. Tottenham have played a great forward-thinking style all season and should generate enough offense to see both these plays make at least one attempt. This parlay has odds of -150, but on the year when looking at home and away matches for both teams, has implied odds of -200, making it a great value play.

Real Madrid @ Atletico Madrid (FanDuel)

Real Madrid head to crosstown rivals Atletico currently sitting atop of the La Liga table, with a perfect 15 points from their five matches thus far this season, towering above Atletico who sit seventh with a meager 7 points. Despite this discrepancy, we are privileged to see such an intense derby so early in the season between two clubs that have shown flashes of brilliance to open both their domestic and European campaigns. In their last outings, Real escaped with a narrow 1-0 victory against Union Berlin, saved by yet another last minute winner courtesy of star signing Jude Bellingham, while Atletico saw their lead erased through a stoppage time header from Lazio, coming in the most unforeseen of circumstances as their goalkeeper, Ivan Provedel scored the decisive goal. With an unbelievable amount of attacking potential between these two sides and plenty of star names throughout both team sheets, this should be yet another stellar matchup between two of Europe’s most storied clubs.

Real Madrid Double Chance + Rodrygo 1+ Shot on Goal (-111) | Same Game Parlay

Real Madrid come into this match in impeccable form but have not looked as overwhelmingly convincing as their record may suggest. Though the odds are with Real to take this match, adding a double chance here covers the backside in a major way as Atletico are still a tough opponent, particularly at the Wanda Metropolitano. Coming off two frustrating results, Atletico will be looking to make a statement against their rivals, particularly as they look to keep any hopes of keeping abreast in the race for the La Liga title. For Real, we are additionally adding in winger Rodrygo to record at least one shot on goal as he has looked one of their most lethal attackers all season and regardless of how the game ends up going, should have ample opportunity to take an effort on goal. On the year, this parlay has been perfect for Real Madrid even if you took them straight up, but out of respect for Simeone’s side, we are taking the double chance.

Total Corners Over 9 (-115) | Game Line

Another line that we love for this game is the over on corners, particularly as this is a home match for Atletico. With an extra boost from the home crowd coming after two challenging games, we should witness the lively and offensive-minded Atletico team, rather than the compact and defense-first version that Simeone is known for. With such potent attacks on both sides of the ball, this number has great potential, backed well by the numbers for both teams. On the year, Real have averaged 7.7 corners per game this year, while Atletico are not far behind at 5.2. Combining this with the great intensity a derby match provides should make for an entertaining match and for this bet to hit.

Alvaro Morata 1+ Shots On Target + Total Goals o1.5 (-137) | Same Game Parlay
