Daily Plays: Betting on MLB 6/28 Games | Parlay and Player Prop Research

Blog Post Image

Welcome to our parlay and player prop research for the June 28 MLB slate. Take a look at the numbers we are including in every bet for today and play them either straight or in a parlay.

The lineup for today

If you are looking to place these picks as a parlay, there should be good value. Running this through the parlay optimizer, you can see over the past 20 games this parlay has hit with an implied probability of +170, a huge boost compared to the +618 odds offered on Draftkings.

Today we are featuring a great slate of games from the Padres visiting the Pirates, Philly visiting the Cubs, the Cardinals playing host to the Astros and the Rangers welcoming the Tigers. In this article, we are featuring a great road pitcher, a slim road favorite, an always reliable hitter and a pitcher who has not yet broke through at home.

Blake Snell u4.5 Hits Allowed (-165) | Player Prop

Snell has been an incredible starter for the Padres throughout his time in San Diego, pitching gem after gem. Over his last ten games, he has hit this under 80% of the time, including his last six starts straight. Looking at the entire year, he has been consistently great here, hitting this line 67% of the time.

Philadelphia Phillies ML (-135) | Player Prop

Though they are the road team the Phillies find themselves narrowly as the favorite in tonight’s game. The numbers are in support of this positioning as Philadelphia has taken care of business incredibly well against below average teams such as the Cubs, where they have won in 66% of games played. With a strong run of form as of late, expect this to continue tonight.

Paul Goldschmidt o0.5 Hits (-200) | Player Prop

Goldschmidt is an omnipresent force for the Cardinals, delivering hits nearly night in and night out with his average currently above one hit a game. When facing off against righties, he has performed even better, taking an already superb number all the way to a 70% hit rate.

Dane Dunning u4.5 Strikeouts (-140) | Player Prop

Dunning has been hung up on this strikeout number for much of the year, so far only having five or more strikeouts in three of his starts. This number gives the under a strong hit rate of 82%. However, he has performed worse when pitching at home, where the under has hit in 100% of his games played, meaning with him starting on the mound tonight there is a great chance of that trend continuing.
